Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you are happy, healthy, wiser and looking forward to a prosperous New Year. I pray God bless you in all you do.

There were no emergencies reported this week. Robbie Jester (Blue Eyes) is in the nursing home and her husband is being cared for by family. They would appreciate a phone call or a visit, and your prayers. Price Savage is still in the nursing facility also George Ware. Beneather Graves is being cared for by family at home. I am getting ready to start back to therapy again this week. Remember us in your prayers.

I hear from Mattie Lena Hudgons (Bradley) from Saratoga. She had had a bad fall and hit her head. Would you add her to your prayer list? Thank you.

The Pastoral staff from Piggee Memorial Baptist Church, brought me Communion on the first Sunday to my home. I want to thank them very much for remembering me. My faith was strengthened to continue serving Jesus. I want to thank the Church and all that prayed for me during my time of grief in the home going of my family members during the Holidays.

Genesis Smith and her family visited me during the Christmas holidays. She is growing healthy and developing on track with other two years olds. She can already beat me using the Ipad.

We survived the big storm this weekend without any damages. The only problem we had was that the lights were out for more than an hour. Lights out is a big problem for me. When it’s dark in White Cliffs, it’s dark! So, I hope don’t happen again soon. I hope everyone else were safe.

As we go about our daily activities let’s keep a pray on our hearts for our Country and for our President. We are living in a time of great decisions and we don’t want to make the wrong ones. The scripture says, pride goes before destructions, and a haughty spirit before a fall. We can do this if we pull together.

Christian Refresher Proverbs 16: 19-22 KJV

Better is it to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoils with the proud. He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and the sweetness of the lips increaseth learning. Understanding is the wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but instruction of fools is folly.
