The Polk County Community Veterans Engagement Team (C-VET) along with the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System will be hosting their second annual Veterans Benefit Fair on Saturday, March 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The purpose of the fair is to assist local veterans and their families right at home. Through the partnership, both organizations are able to become a hub of resources for veterans.

Tables will be set up to provide assistance with applying for VA benefits, obtaining a DD214 or military ID, healthcare enrollment and general questions. Local community representatives, established veterans organizations and other local organizations with a heart for veterans are invited to participate.

Refreshments and food will also be served and opportunities to win door prizes.

This year’s event will be at the Ouachita Center on the UARM Campus with a Veterans Recognition Ceremony to take place at 12:30 p.m.
