“I have nothing further at this time, but we are aware of the situation and handling it appropriately,” said Polk County Sheriff Scott Sawyer in regard to four missing children from Mena. 

The names of the children were recently listed on neverforgotten.ar.gov, a statewide website. 

The children are Caleb Voelkel, white, age 16, 5’5’’, 146 lbs, brown hair and brown eyes; Collin Voelkel, white, age 10, 4’4’’, 68 lbs, blond or strawberry hair, and blue eyes; Sierra Voelkel, white, age 4, 3’5’’ 35 lbs blond or strawberry hair, and blue eyes ; and Skylar Voelkel, white, age 5, 3’3’’, 42 lbs, blond or strawberry hair, and blue eyes. 

The children were reported missing in Mena on May 13, 2019. 

If you have any information in regard to the case (case number 19-00400) or children, please contact the Polk County Sheriff’s Office at 479-394-2511. 

**At press time, Sawyer confirmed the children have not been found.
