The Single Parent Scholarship Fund has $10,000 available for scholarships this spring.

Even those already enrolled for spring 2020 classes are eligible to apply. And, single parents considering enrolling also should apply.

Single Parent Scholarships can be used at any two-year and four-year not-for profit institution. In addition to degree programs, the scholarships can be used for technical certificates offered by colleges and not-for-profits.

Scholarships for full-time students are $1,100.00 a semester ($2,000 for LPN students). Part-time students receive scholarship amounts proportional to the number of hours they take.

Scholarship funds are awarded directly to recipients, so the money can be used for expenses related to achieving the recipient’s goals.

For an application form, contact the University of Arkansas Financial Aid Department or Scholarship Committee Applicant Coordinator Pete Chambers at 479-243-0781
