A large area of storms which blew up in Oklahoma and Texas in the late afternoon and early evening hours and could bring Polk and Scott Counties severe weather overnight.

According to the US National Weather Severe in Little Rock, severe weather remains possible across roughly the "middle" of the state from Fort Smith and Mena eastward toward Jonesboro and West Memphis.

The main threat will be damaging winds and hail and heavy rainfall as secondary threats.
