Elections are just around the corner and the Polk County Election Commission is asking for more volunteers to work at polling places on Election Day or during Early Voting.  

Individuals that volunteer to work as an election official must be a resident and a registered voter of Polk County, must be willing to attend training, and must be flexible about what days and hours available to work.  

Workers are currently being sought for the May Primary. Workers should be prepared to volunteer Monday, May 7 through Monday, May 21 for Early Voting and on Election Day Tuesday, May 22  

The November General Election dates are Monday, October 22 through Monday, Nov. 5 for Early Voting and Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.
