Mena Track Places 17th At State

The Mena High School track team traveled to Batesville last Tuesday, April 30, to compete in the 4A State Track Meet.

In the Girls Division, the Ladycats placed 17th overall.

Madyson Birtcher came in 17th in the Girls Discus Throw competition.

In the Girls High Jump event, Emily Wagner placed 11th.

Lauren Sikes finished 14th in the Girls 100 Meter Hurdles and 15th in the 300 Meter Hurdles.

Jayden Harris placed 6th in the Girls 400 Meter Dash.

Alex Harper finished 6th in the Girls 800 Meter Run.

In the Girls 4x100 Meter Relay, Danielle Hill, Bethany Godwin, Andrea Maechler, and Jayden Harris placed 16th for Mena.

Gracie Lyle, Jayden Harris, Alex Harper, and Ciara Lance finished 7th for Mena in the Girls 4x400 Meter Relay.

The Mena Girls placed 7th in the 4x800 Meter Relay.

In the Boys Division, the Bearcats placed 17th as a team.

Jacob Flemens placed 8th in the Boys Pole Vault event.

Devin Adams finished 2nd in the Boys 800 Meter Run.

Robert McIntyre placed 8th in the Boys 3200 Meter Run.

In the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles, Iaza Ingoglia finished 16th overall.

Zane Stephens, Devin Adams, Iaza Ingoglia, and Caleb Peters finished 9th for Mena in the Boys 4x400 Meter Relay.

In the Boys 4x800 Meter Relay, Thaddaeus Nance, Logan Myers, Caleb Peters, and Devin Ada,s finished 8th for Mena.
