Rich Mountain XCountry competes at East Texas Shootout

The Rich Mountain Bucks Cross Country team competed in their second meet of the season last Saturday in Commerce, Texas, at the East Texas Shootout.

In the girls race, Marlenne Mendez was the first Buck to finish, as she came in 29th. Miriam Mendez followed in 31st, while Shannan Gardner placed 32nd, and Faith Hill 43rd.

The Bucks men's team placed 6th overall in the meet. Jordan Foster finished first for Rich Mountain as the Caddo Hills graduate placed 19th. Clint Buck finished 27th, Cross Hughes 32nd, Mikey Tenorio 36th, Robert McIntyre 41st, Asael Sanchez 42nd, Ethan Sanders 43rd, Osman Flores 46th, and JP Rojas 57th.

Rich Mountain will be back in action this Friday, September 13, as the Bucks travel to the Bob Gravett Invitational at OBU. Start time is scheduled for 6:00pm.
