Last Saturday, June 15, the Mena Barracudas Swim team competed in a meet at Texarkana.

In the 10 & under Boys division, Ayden Dong placed 4th in the 50 Yard Backstroke and 4th in the 50 Yard Freestyle. Ryan Jiang placed 1st in the 50 Yard backstroke, 1st in the 50 Yard Freestyle, 1st in the 50 Yard Breaststroke, and 1st in the 100 Yard I.M.

In the 12 & under Girls division, Savannah Levering placed 8th in the 50 Yard Breaststroke.

Brandon Dong, in the 12 & under Boys division, placed 3rd in the 50 Yard Breaststroke, 3rd in the 50 Yard Freestyle, 4th in the 50 Yard Backstroke, and 3rd in the 100 Yard I.M. Brenden Ricker placed 3rd in the 50 Yard Butterfly, 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle, 1st in the 50 Yard Breaststroke, and 1st in the 100 Yard I.M.

In the 14 & under Girls division, Ranessa Ricker placed 1st in the 500 Yard Freestyle, 2nd in the 100 Yard Freestyle, 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle, and 2nd in the 200 Yard Freestyle.

Tabitha Levering placed 4th in the 100 Yard Butterfly, 1st in the 100 Yard Breaststroke, 4th in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and 4th in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

Allison Bates placed 2nd in the 100 Yard Butterfly, 1st in the 100 Backstroke, 2nd in the 100 Yard Freestyle, and 2nd in the 50 Yard Freestyle.

The Mena 12 & under Boys placed 1st in both the 100 Yard Medley Relay and Freestyle Relay, as the Senior Girls from Mena finished 2nd in both the 200 Yard Medley Relay and the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.

The Mena Barracudas will be back in action June 28-30 in Texarkana at the AAU State Meet.
