Stidman signs with Nighthawks

Mena High School graduate, Landon Stidman, signed his Letter of Intent to play college baseball for the National Park College Nighthawks on Thursday, May 9.

National Park College, located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, introduced baseball, softball, and cross country programs last December. All three sports will begin in the Fall 2019. The baseball and softball teams will be a part of the NJCAA Division II Region 2, while the cross country teams will compete in the NJCAA Division I Region 2.

Stidman, a former Mena Bearcats baseball player said, "Being able to compete at the college level is an amazing offer that I am extremely grateful for." On competing alongside National Park College, Stidman noted, "The Nighthawks are a first year program, and being able to be the foundation of what could turn into a household name is a dream of mine."
