UA Rich Mountain XCountry preparing to go the distance

The University of Arkansas Rich Mountain Bucks Cross Country team is counting down the days until their first meet, but until then, the team is training for the upcoming season.

Bucks Cross Country Coach, Samantha Shores, and her team will begin their official running season on August 30 with a meet at the local Lions Club in Mena. This season the Bucks will also compete at meets in Texas and Oklahoma. 

On October 12, the Bucks will be hosting the NJCAA Division I Region II Championship at the Lions Club, as the NJCAA Division I National Championship will take place in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
