According to social media posts on Twitter by the athletes, both Luke Rice from North Little Rock High School and KJ Merriweather from Joe T. Robinson High School have received offers to play college baseball for the UA Rich Mountain Bucks for their inaugural season in 2020. 

Rice, an incoming senior, played first base and hit with a .426 average this past season for the 6A State Champion North Little Rock Charging Wildcats. The slugger connected for 49 hits according to MaxPreps and drove in 27 runs.

Merriweather, a center fielder and middle infielder, hit .397 last season for the Robinson Senators and scored 27 runs. The incoming senior was also an All-Conference and 4A All-State award winner this past year.
