Coach Bennett joining Murfreesboro Football

Another coach from Mena has departed from Polk County. Assistant Football coach and Girls Soccer coach, Jonathan Bennett, is joining the Murfreesboro Rattlers football coaching staff.

Bennett has spent the past three years with Mena Public Schools.

"I have truly enjoyed my time here and I have leaned a lot as a teacher and coach," said Bennett.

"I was blessed to work with an amazing coaching staff and I leave having built lifelong friendships."

With his departure Bennett noted, "I wish the best to Mena Bearcats Football and Mena Soccer. My family and I are looking forward to new adventures with the Murfreesboro Rattlers, but we will miss our Bearcats."

At Murfreesboro, Bennett will serve as the Defensive Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for Rattlers Football, as well as the Head Cross Country Coach.
